"CRESCENDO" is a short film finalist for the Student Academy Awards, created by students from the Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Production and Realization at the Universidad Abierta Interamericana (UAI) in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina.
It explores the experience of a young woman in her search for connection and understanding in a world that ignores her. Through a series of abstract and symbolic scenes, we follow the protagonist's inner journey as she seeks to find her place in an apparently indifferent environment.
As the audio producer and composer of the soundtrack, I was responsible for producing, balancing, and mastering the entire mix of the short film, including its sound effects, dialogues, and music.

Synopsis:
Misericordia follows two prosecutors investigating a string of homicides that mimic the crimes of a convicted serial killer. To catch the copycat, they are forced to confront the original killer in prison. However, a hidden past between one of the prosecutors and the imprisoned man adds a psychological layer of tension, complicating the investigation and blurring the lines between justice and personal history.

This project challenged me to build a dark, introspective sound world that reflects the characters’ inner conflicts and moral ambiguity.
